At the specialized air range of the Eastern Military District stationed in the Primorsky Territory, the operational-tactical aircraft crews on the Su-30SM, Su-35S and Su-34 bombers were destroyed by cruise missiles of the conventional enemy. As reported by Vesti: Primorye, referring to Interfax-Far East, the pilots during the exercises destroyed special targets simulating cruise missiles. The crews performed flight and tactical tasks in conditions of active electronic countermeasures against the conventional enemy.

As noted in the press service, the peculiarity of the exercises was the use of guided air missiles of air-to-air class with a thermal guidance head.
