Festival "Meridian of friendship" was held in the Primorye
Primorye is one of the most multinational regions of Russia.
Today there are 158 nations in the Primorye. Among them are Jews, Bashkirs, Armenians, Koreans, Ukrainians, Udege and many others.
One of the important tasks of local administration is preservation of cultural values, customs and their national identity.
Nowdays a lot of multinational festivals, fairs and other colorful events is held here.
2017 festival "Meridian of friendship" was held by the 30th of September in the city center. Russians, Ukrainians, Byelorussians, Tatars, Azerbaijanis, Armenians, Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Gypsies, Germans and representatives of other nations living in Primorye took a part in the festival. They sang songs, danced and give people to taste their traditional dishes.
Vladivostok is already the second time become the stage of the international festival "Meridian of Friendship".
