Russian Federation offers China to establish center to support Chinese investors
Russian Far East Development Ministry has offered China to set up center to support Chinese investors. This was announced by Russian Far East Development Minister Alexander Galushka in an interview for "Izvestiya".
"We have prepared and handed over to the Chinese side the proposal to establish Far Eastern center to support investors and entrepreneurs from China. This mechanism will provide additional necessary impetus to Russian-Chinese cooperation in the macroregion and will help to considerably increase the number and quality of incoming investment.", - said the minister.
Currently, Russian-Chinese cooperation in the Far East is developing very rapidly. 23 projects with Chinese investments are being implemented in the region, the total amount of Chinese investments worth about $ 3 billion.
The share of Chinese investments in the Far East of Russia is about 22% of the total foreign investment volume.
