Alexander Galushka , minister of Far East development, presented projects of development of  international transport corridors in Primorsky territory to Chinese journalists. It is expected that transport corridors will become one of the main topics on upcoming Eastern Economic Forum in September.

Remarkable, that Chinese State Development and Reformation Committee took part in  development of international transport corridors "Primorye-1" and "Primorye-2" projects. This means that project has already reached the level of real interaction between the Russia and China. According to experts, the savings from cargo transportation to China through the territory of Primorsky region may reach more than 1 billion dollars. Implementation of this project will create three thousands new working places in Primorsky territory and growth of macro economy of Primorsky territory will grow by 4%.

Yuri Trutnev, presidential envoy in the Far East Federal District, RF Deputy Prime Minister stated: "If we talk about China's south-eastern provinces, then distance of these transport corridors is three times shorter than Chinese domestic routes."

Russian side now has only on task - to remove all possible obstacles for high-speed transit passing of Chinese cargo on Primorsky territory. In April representatives of "Rosgranstroy" announced plans to increase traffic capacity up to three times.

Two projects are being implemented on the territory of Primorsky region to facilitate cargo transportation from China. Both transport corridors need a considerable financial investment, and therefore agreements with Chinese partners are needed.

Vladimir Miklushevsky, the governor of Primorsky Territory: "Both transport corridors can become toll routes, which will be alternatives to the already existing roads. Especially, when new version of "Primorye-1" will be 25-30 km. shorter."

Now negotiation platforms for attracting Chinese investments are being prepared. These negotiation platforms will make a working basis on the second East Economic Forum, which will be held in early September on Russian island.
