Giant mortar is designed to destroy strengthened buildings, fortifications, concentrations of troops and armored vehicles, as well as to destruct targets, that cannot be destroyed by other types of artillery.

Thus, during the recent military maneuvers near Tambov, squad of "Tulips" blew imaginary enemy’s underground bunkers. In addition to the high-explosive and incendiary munitions, mortars arsenal also include cargo mortar bombs and controlled mines. "Tulips"’ neutron ammunition is being named "Resin" and "Veil ". Mortar rocket-assisted mine 3B11 is equipped with two kilotons nuclear warhead.
