More than 50 families from Primorsky region have become the owners of "Far Eastern hectare." Today the region has the second highest number of applications for land receiving under the new law. Such data was voiced out by Yuri Trutnev at the governmental meeting. The head of Primorsky region believes that this project may be the second stage of mass settlement of the Far East.

Excitement for "Far Eastern hectare" is not subsiding. For already almost a month residents of Primorsky region can choose a piece of land on the entire territory of Primorsky region. In addition to the common ideas, some people are ready to realize unique projects. For example, an unique mushroom farm might be created in Nakhodka. According to the plan, shiitake will be grown here in natural environment for sale. This kind of mushrooms is very popular in Asia-Pacific region, and most importantly has healing properties.

Artem Degtyarev, the winner of the All-Russian contest of ideas for the use of the "Far Eastern hectare": "We should not think that it is only for cultivation of wheat, cows breeding and apiary. It's a standard. But today, the world has changed. I think, this program has great prospects. "

From October, 1 residents of the Far East are allowed to choose "Far Eastern hectare". About 2 thousand applications have already been applied. Only Nakhodka city citizens have already applied for 30 plots of arable land. But the authorities have decided to extend this law even more.

Vladimir Miklushevsky, the governor of Primorsky region said: "All the projects are aimed at creating new workplaces. Moreover, these projects will bring additional tax revenues. If a person believes he/she has enough strength to realize some project, we are willing to help. And starting from February, 2017 all Russians will be able to choose their hectares on the territory of the Far East. "

This addition to the law will help implementation of the program of compatriots resettlement, especially to the territory of Primorsky region. Entrepreneurs from the central part of Russia have already got interested in this project. For example, entrepreneur from Kirov has offered to build a base for the development of micro-aviation on the territory of Far East. Entrepreneurs from Moscow want to build eco-hotel near the hot springs in Kamchatka.  Also, some State Support Programs are being created for the recipients of "Far Eastern hectare":         mortgage lending programs, programs on purchasing of fodder and agricultural machinery, and, of course, programs on support of small business.
