-What are the innovations in the development of Vladivostok free port? How many residents do we have in the free port at present?

-Project of Free Port is developing, at present, not only Primorsky region, but four other regions also became part of free port zone. This gives new opportunities to attract new residents to a free port, and business will get more chances to use free port preferences. At present, there are 92 residents in Vladivostok free port and more than 120 applications on residentship. Far Eastern Economic Forum increased interest in free port. According to the plan there will be thousands of residents in our free port.

-Free Port really gives a lot of preferences, but why some entrepreneurs are afraid to enter free port zone?

- At present, they are not afraid anymore, we constantly receive requests on residency in free port. We actively communicate with entrepreneurs and get information on all of the difficulties encountered while entering Free port, we do everything to resolve them as quickly as possible.

-How do you think, what type of business does Vladivostok free port lack?

-We would like all the companies that we have registered to be export-oriented, no matter what field they work in.

Alexey Starichkov, director of International Cooperation Department: "A year passed since the law on Vladivostok Free Port came into force. From the 1st of October, 2016 all the checkpoints of Vladivostok free port will start working around the clock. At present, there are only 15 checkpoints on the territory of the free port. However, according to an agreement with our Chinese partners, at this stage, motor vehicle checkpoints will not work around the clock, but their working time will be increased. They will operate twelve hours a day and seven-days a week".
