This is one of the fundamentally new directions in approaches to import substitution and a new opportunity for the development of high-tech industries in Primorye, which will be presented to the participants of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

Sevenfold increase in the economic contribution of the machine-building industries is one of the principal tasks identified in the development strategy of Primorye. There are already growth points in the region that can become the basis for a qualitative breakthrough in the development of machine-building in the whole territory. For example, this production has mastered the production of about three million elastic elements of the autosuspension per year. They are suitable for repairing both domestic and foreign cars of different brands and years of production. The use of such advanced technologies allows seaside enterprises to occupy key positions in the Russian automotive components market. Not long ago, polyurethane parts manufactured in Vladivostok appeared on the assembly line of the domestic auto giant.
