Day of cedar will take place on "Leopard Land" on Sunday, April 29. Primorsky people are invited to take part in an environmental action and plant trees on the reserved territory, making their contribution to the preservation of the coastal taiga and the rarest large cat of the planet - the Far Eastern leopard.

As reported by "Vesti: Primorye" referring to the press service of the FGBU "Land of the Leopard", coniferous-deciduous forests serve as the home and the basis of the fodder base for many wild animals. Restoring a special natural ecosystem is an important task that faces the participants of the Cedar Day.

Volunteers will have to plant several thousand Korean cedar seedlings. In addition to the solemn planting of three-year-old kedrushes grown in the forest nursery of the Primorsky State Agricultural Academy, all the guests of the event are waiting for competitions and phyto tea.

Participants of the Cedar Day will be both regular visitors of this holiday, and beginners. Planting of trees will be carried out at a special site of the national park in the Khasansky district of Primorsky Krai. On the spot the participants will receive the necessary inventory, with them it is necessary to grab lunch.
