Primorye’s scientific development may help fight COVID-19
When a patient loses a fight with COVID-19, artificial intelligence is ready to help! It can study a patient's medical history and advise a doctor on treatment tactics in a matter of minutes. Chinese colleagues are already interested in the development of Far Eastern scientists. Will the smart machines join the ranks of Russian doctors?
Since the beginning of the pandemic, doctors have tested 13 versions of clinical guidelines. Artificial intelligence can help choose the right tactics to treat SARS-CoV-2. Primorye scientists have created such a system to support medical decision-making. The intelligent doctor immediately attracted the interest of Chinese doctors. To apply the know-how to combat covid in China, Russian scientists had to learn the Chinese language.
Doctors, mathematicians and programmers was working hard on the program. A modern approach to medical care is designed to eliminate the wrong choice of drug and dosage. The system should also help prescribe individualised treatment, adjust it if need and monitor the person’s recovery.
