Residents of Primorye were warned about the fourth wave of COVID-19
The fourth wave of coronavirus is expected in Primorsky Krai. According to experts, general vaccination will help to defeat the disease.
According to Evgeniya Shutka, head of the department for organization of medical care for the adult population of the Primorye’s Ministry of Health, in order to form a collective immunity, 80% of the region's population - 1.2 million people - need to be vaccinated.
Recall that as of September 27, 414783 people were vaccinated in Primorsky Krai. This is about one-third of the region's residents.
Evgeniya Shutka added that 90% of the vaccine that comes to Primorsky region is Gam-Covid-Vac (Sputnik-V) and Sputnik Lite. It is available at almost all vaccination sites.
At the moment there are more than 200 vaccination centers in the region, and mobile vaccination teams work in all municipalities. It is also possible to be re-vaccinated with Sputnik Lite.
