«Sputnik Light» vaccine is available in Primorye
Fourth Russian Covid-19 vaccine is available in Primorye. 5 088 doses are being distributed in medical organisations of the region.
According to the minister of health of Primorye Anastasia Khudchenko the vaccine has been created for people from 18 to 60 years old. It will be delivered to 41 medical organisations.
Sputnik Light’s main advantage is that it does not require a second dose - only one dose is enough to be fully vaccinated.
Besides this new vaccine other Russian vaccines are available in the region - «Gam-Covid-Vac», «EpiVacCorona» and «Covivac». Since the beginning of mass vaccination 405 638 vaccine doses have been delivered to Primorye. 255 165 citizens of the region are already fully vaccinated.
For recall, on August 2nd 257 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Primorye. In total the region has 55 078 coronavirus cases. 48 576 people have recovered from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.
