COVID-19: Vaccine testings will last until the end of 2022
The testings of the coronavirus vaccine developed by Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology are planned to be finished by the end of 2022.
The testing permit was given to the institute by the Ministry of health on August 25th. 40 000 volunteers will participate in the research. The third finale phase of the research include the participation of elders older than 60. Thus as the result of this experiment it will become clear if the vaccine can be used on elders.
The «Sputnik V» vaccine has been registered by the Ministry of health according to special regulations related to unusual situations. This permet is valid until the end of this year.
