Tiger weekend awaits Primorye
Tiger weekend awaits the citizens of Vladivostok. The holiday dedicated to the preserving the striped cat will last two days.
According to «Land of a leopard» national park, there has been a growth in population. Now there are 41 tigers and 14 tiger cubs in the park. Moreover, world’s only population of far eastern leopards live there as well - 110 species.
According to the experts, in the meantime, the overall population of tigers all over Russia is 580 species.
This year the tiger related holiday will last two days. Various events will be held all over the city.
