Tigers and leopards will have an international reservation center
The collaborative agreement between Russia’s «Land of the leopard» and China’s North-Eastern tiger and leopard national park was signed during the first official visit of the representatives of the Chinese park to Primorye.
The territory of «Land of the leopard» national park shares the national border with China. Not taking the national borders into account, some parts of tiger and leopard populations freely move around on the territories of two countries. In 2017, the territories of China that share the border with the territory of «Land of the leopard» became a part of the North-Eastern tiger and leopard national park. In February 2019 an agreement for collaboration was signed between Russia and China.
