The first conference of Export Technologies and Potential of Primorsky region was held in Vladivostok on 30th of November. Representatives of the Russian companies and entrepreneurs of Primorsky region shared their experiences in development and promotion of their business in an international markets. "Center of export development of Primorsky region" is supported by the regional Administration.

Experts have estimated that Primorsky region exports goods amounting to more than two billion dollars annually. The largest volume of supply to the Asia-Pacific region countries consists of the fuel and energy raw materials, seafood and wood. However, representatives of "Center of Export Development" warn that countries that specialize in the export of raw materials can significantly lag behind in development. In other words, today we have to offer not just raw materials to foreign markets, but technologies also.

"Center of export development of Primorsky region" was created by order of the governor of Primorsky region- Vladimir Miklushevsky in 2013year, and already for more than three years it supports entrepreneurs of Primorsky region, providing them with access to foreign markets. Thanks to the leading manufacturers of the region non-oil exports and the economy as a whole are being developed in Primorsky region.

At present, foreign partners , like China, Republic of Korea and Japan are interested in projects on wood and fish processing, mining, processing of soybeans. All these projects can be realized in Primorsky region, because the region has a huge export potential due to its geographical location and rich resource base.
