The government of Primorye tries to solve the problem of stay animals
The government of Primorye tries to solve the stray dogs and cats problem. They plan to invest several million rubles into building animal shelters.
The local zoo-activists and volunteers, who have a lot of experience in working with stray animals, will be in charge of creating those shelters.
After being caught, the animal will have to be vaccinated ans sterilised. Vet ans surgery rooms are planned to be equipped in every shelter.
According to the new legislation, after the surgery recovery cats and dogs will be given for adoption. And those that will not be adopted, will be released in the same spot where they were caught. All of the process will be documented on camera.
