Usually fish processing factory in Preobrazeniye deals with salmon, saury and herring, that are being delivered directly from the sea.

Seaweed and saury preserves are pride of Preobrazhenskaya fish processors . Canned sauries are being delivered to different places across the country. Now local fishermen waiting for the fishing season, according to the forecasts, it will reach its peak in September.

Fish processing team will soon go on a short vacation, since factory will be closed in order to install new equipment, that will allow increase production. It will be possible to produce more than 150 thousands cans within one day. For comparison, now one day production is one third less - about 100 thousands.

To keep up the working pace during summer, fish processors decided to conduct an experiment. It’s the first time factory decided to carry out processing of river fish. Fish was brought from Yakutia: whitefish, cisco, burbot.

River fish made by Preobrazenskaya factory receipt is being delivered only to shops of Yakutia, probably soon it will be possible to try it here in Primorsky region, since ordering customer would like to come to our market also.
