New economy of Primorskii region: Transportation Ministry of Russian Federation prepared a project of governmental regulation of passengers transportation on small size vessels
Lazovskii region will become a part of Primorskii region free zone, thus even more businessmen will get an opportunity to use special economic regime. Meanwhile, Administration of sea ports of Primorskii region and the Eastern Arctic also focuses its attention on other problems of sea traffic development in the new environment.
Decision, that was reported by Vitaly Klyuev, Director of the Department of state policy in the field of Sea and River Transportation Ministry of Russian Federation, was eagerly expected by many boats and catamarans owners, because it will significantly change licensing procedure of passengers transportation on small size vessels.
Vitaly Klyuev said: "When new act come into effect, vessel's certificate will be the only document needed for small size vessels.
As soon as new act come into effect, owners of small size vessels will only have to have vessel's certificate to get a license. This certificate should have a remark, that vessel meets requirements of Maritime Registrar and is suitable for passengers transportation.
Federal Transportation Inspection Service will provide its conclusion on granting of licence within 30 days.
Decision on this act is being expected by everyone, who would like to run a business within free zone, while not being a resident.
Obtainment of license for passengers transportation on small size vessels is an opportunity to develop legal business and create new tour itineraries, which will give an opportunity to see the image of free port economy.
