«Our neighbors». Far Eastern Newt
Ussury claw Newt lives in cold pure streams. Its skin is brown with a gold stripe on the back.
It has a long tail and it doesn't have lungs so it breathes through its skin.
The newts prefer humid places such as forests. Warm water can be deadly for them. They mostly live on shores, but breed in the water. What is interesting is that for breeding they come to the same stream where they were born.
It eats insects. His all time favourite food is caterpillars.
