Question: Dmitrii, please tell us about why the problem of extremism has become so important?
D.K: Actually, it was always important. In order to fight it, we collaborate with law enforcement agencies and local administrations.

D.K: The most effective ways of preventing extremism are political propaganda and educational public work.
We organise lectures, seminars, meetings with different people in various establishments. Also, we work with professors. For example, last year different scientific materials about extremism were created by the professors of local universities for parents and teachers.
Question: Is there a specific category of citizens who commit extremist offences?

D.K: There are some obvious signs of it: a person becomes more rude and aggressive, he swears a lot. His style and appearance change as well, he starts learning about various extremist materials.

D.K: They can turn on a so-called “Internet for children”, where all of the illegal websites are blocked. Moreover, they can always ask law enforcement agencies for help.
Question: What else can you recommend for parents?
D.K: 1.Pay attention to what websites your child visits and conversations he’s having online.
2.If you suspect your offspring of having extremist views do not panic and argue with him.
3.Try to change his ideas by explaining what is good and what is bad.
