Ignorance of the law is no excuse
During summer holidays it is really important for parents to pay attention to how their children spend their free time, especially online. According to the law enforcement agencies, the biggest threat of getting extremist ideas comes from the Internet.
The statistics show that in Primorye more than 30 cases of extremism were brought to action in 2016. The office of public prosecutor says that the tendency does not seem to go down. Usually, the main thing is not that children consciously propagandise extremism, but that they do not know what actions can be illegal.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse – the truth that some teenagers and young people seem to be ignorant of. But it can lead to difficult situations. That is when parents need to know when to stop their offsprings.
