Transport group FESCO and Korean company Hyundai GlovisCo. Ltd. signed an agreement about the opening regular container service from the port of Busan to St. Petersburg with the transshipment of cargo in Vladivostok. In 10 days the goods will be delivered to Vladivostok. This is the Far East the fastest way of cargo transportation.

Earlier cargo from the Republic of Korea was going along the Suez Canal route by passing Russia, it is almost three times longer than the way through the sea. A new transit line will also help to develop cargo transportation from Korea to Europe.

Dmitry Bratynenko, vice-governor of Primorsky Krai: "Between Primorsky Krai and the Republic of Korea we have close ties in terms of business development. The leaders of the two companies signed an agreement on cooperation and, possibly, a new route will soon be open for  Korean enterprises.
