"Luch" begins the season under the historical name
The main football team of Primorye starts a new season under its historical name - "Luch". The first game will take place this Tuesday, July 17, on the home field against FC Khimki. This is reported by "Vesti: Primorye" with reference to the press service of the Krai administration.
As the club's management notes, all the documents necessary for renaming were able to be issued in a short time, and on July 13, the FNL officially recognized Luch (Vladivostok) as a participant in the Russian Olympic Games-2018-2019. The logo of the team remained the same, the only thing - it now does not have the word "Energy". This is due to the fact that according to the results of the competition held by the club, none of the seven proposed sketches did not score more than half of the fans' votes. At the same time, 53% of those who voted in favor of the presence of a tiger on the emblem of the Luch.
