International youth football tournament was held in Vladivostok.
Eight teams from Primorye, Sakhalin, Amur Region, Khabarovsk Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) took a part in this competition. Football players from Korea and China was the opponents Far East sportsmen.
Jean Kuznetsov, Director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Primorsky Region: "First of all, we are interested in not only the development of football in the Far East and Primorsky Region, but also in the Asia-Pacific region. It can help us to establish friendly and sporting relations with the neighboring countries. They are taking part in todays tournament as well. "
Kim Sung Co, deputy director of the sports school Gangneung Munseong High School (Republic of Korea): "Football in the sports department of the school was opened ten years ago. One year later, our team won first place in the country. All subsequent years, guys have always been a winner, or the best in Korea. "
Eugene Krupin, goalkeeper of the team "Luch-Energy-2001" (Vladivostok): "We are training almost every day, especially these two weeks. Our trainer wished us all good luck and said: "Try and do something."
