In Primorye, "black loggers" were detained, engaged in harvesting timber on an industrial scale
In Primorye, a criminal case was instituted on the fact of illegal cutting down of trees in a number of forest areas in Lesozavodsky district. This is reported by "News: Primorye" with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Primorski region.
Since December 2017, local residents have conducted illegal logging in the Panteleymonovsky and Kurortny district forest districts with subsequent sale to the wood reception points. "Black loggers" illegally cut trees of ash, ilm, oak, linden. The damage caused to the forest fund exceeded 6 million rubles.
The organized group consisted of 15 people. The organizer of illegal business attracted his acquaintance, together they formalized the documents for giving the kind of legal logging activity on the leased sites, prepared the territory for the storage of timber and its subsequent sale.
