« Dear fellow countrymen!

Please, accept my cordial congratulations on the holiday of courage and valor - Defender of the Fatherland Day!

On this important holiday for many generations of Russians we congratulate not only those for whom the service became a vocation, but also all those who by their daily work prove love to the Motherland, remember and honour the defenders of our country. Those, behind whose backs peace and security are not just words, but the guarantor of confidence in the future - fathers, brothers, husbands and sons. Every Primorye citizen, regardless of whether he is on combat duty or engaged in peaceful business, is first of all a defender of his Motherland, his loved ones.

And, of course, with special gratitude we turn to veterans today, promising to keep the memory of the great deeds of our countrymen, to pass it on to our children, to lead them along the road of this proud love for their Fatherland. So that all the deeds of the rising generations will be aimed at making Primorye a place worthy of the labours of its heroes!

Once again I congratulate you all on this important holiday!
