Preparations for the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" are in full swing in Vladivostok. A working group meeting of the organizing committee of the Games was held at the Far Eastern Federal University by the Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Culture and Archiving of Primorsky Krai, Elena Bronnikova.

The key topics of the meeting were issues of accommodation and catering for the participants of the games. About 1,700 people are planned to be accommodated at the FEFU campus. These are volunteers, referees, coaches and technical staff.

Also, the organizing committee discussed the readiness of sports facilities, as part of the competition will be held on campus. For example, tournaments in boxing, rhythmic gymnastics, archery and beach volleyball.

The VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" will be held in Vladivostok from July 27 to August 8 on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Last November, in honor of the upcoming large-scale event, a symbolic clock was launched on the central square of Vladivostok, counting down the time until the start of the games.
