The first International Pacific festival continues in Vladivostok. One of its shows, « White on white », took place in Primorye’s regional Philharmonic. This is a performance by Swiss director Daniele Finzi Pasca, the famous director of Cirque du Soleil and the Olympic ceremonies in Turin and Sochi. At the intersection of drama and clowning - the most important things in life.

Swiss artists’ visit is an iconic event for the local philharmonic. 

On the ancient staircase, that now receives the festival audience, the Swiss-born Julius Brynner, who made a huge contribution to the economy of Primorye, walked at the beginning of the 20th century. And his grandson, Yul Brynner, was the only Russian actor to receive an Oscar. 

Swiss director Finzi Pasca created the play in his inimitable style - light, elegant, with many touching details and surprises. 

The title of the performance, "White on White," is an image of theater, a momentary art that leaves no trace anywhere but in our memory. It is as if the actors are writing with white ink on white paper.
