Pokrovsky park is being restored in Vladivostok
Overhaul of Pokrovsky Park will be completed by the end of this year. Pedestrian zones will be restored here, new paths will be created instead of the trampled ones, small architectural forms will be replaced, a new playground will be installed, that will meet all safety requirements, and lighting will be restored as well.
The Directorate of Public Spaces also plans to install a video surveillance system in the park and provide a dog-walking area. The concrete benches at the monument to Peter and Fevronia will be refurbished, and the stairs will be repaired.
As the specialists explain, they faced the task not only to improve the park, but also to preserve its historical appearance. For this reason, it was decided to refuse more extensive works.
