A new resting place appeared in the Pokrovka village of the Oktyabrsky District thanks to the priority project “Forming a Comfortable Urban Environment”.

For several months, builders in the park asphalted footpaths and a platform, parking spaces for cars, installed fences, benches and bins, mounted lighting, landscaped the park. That the territory did not erode during the rains, paved storm sewer. But the main decoration of the recreation area was the symbol of a rural settlement - a pheasant made of wrought metal, which is installed on a pedestal in the center of the public garden.

The implementation of the priority project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” began in 2017 on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. In cities and towns with a population of more than a thousand people, courtyards and public areas are put in order - central streets, squares and squares. The program is designed for six years.

In addition, this year, on the initiative of the Acting Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako, landscaping of courtyards will begin in all municipalities at the expense of the regional budget. At the same time, residents themselves will determine that the work needs to be done in the local area.
