All of the forest fires have been liquidated in the north of Primorye
Forest fires of more than 4 000 hectares have been liquidated in Terney forests and Sikhote-Alin’s sanctuary. According to the press-centre of the region there are no more fires in the local forests.
According to the regional ministry of forestry, more than 170 people and 26 machines have been working on the liquidation. The weather also played its part in saving the forests - it was raining in the endangered areas.
Due to the stabilization of the forest-fire situation and elimination of forest fires in Terneisky municipal district and Krasnoarmeisky district, the emergency regime has been cancelled.
