In Primorye almost 500 hectares of forest fires was localized within 24 hours
In the Primorsky Region over the past day ten forest fires were localized.
According to the regional administration, fires were extinguished in Pogranichny, Kavalerovsky, Olginsky, Pozharsky, Spassky, Lesozavodsky and Ussuriysky urban districts on an area of almost 500 hectares. 83 men took part in extinguishing, 17 units of equipment were involved. Held flight control by helicopter and aircraft.
On Thursday morning, 18th of April 18, the region continues to extinguish two localized fires in the Anuchinsky district and the Ussuri urban district on an area of 57 hectares.
At the moment, there are 112 thermal points in the region.
In the coming days in the region due to dry and windy weather, a high class of fire danger of the forest remains.
Most fires are the fault of man. In the region introduced a special fire regime. Residents of the region must follow the rules of fire safety. It is forbidden to make fires in forests and burn dry grass.
