Bus fare is planned to increase in Vladivostok

The department of transport of Vladivostok’s administration plans to increase bus fares in the city. After signing new contracts with carrier the fare will go up to 30 rubles for credit cards and to 32 rubles for those who pay in cash. 

Vladivostok stays the only city in Far Eastern regional with a bus fare of 28 rubles. In Khabarovsk, for exemple, the fare is 35 rubles. 

Aleksandr Ivanov, the head of the transport department of Vladivostok, mentions that municipal buses’ overall condition is worse in Khabarovsk. In Vladivostok 70% of the bus park has been renewed this year. Next year the remaining 30% will be renewed. 

The bus fare will not be increased until August 31st.
