Lunar New Year celebration was held in Artem city of Primorsky region. Primorsky region Association of Korean organizations gathered everyone together: there were representatives of almost all diplomatic missions operating in the region. This event is one of a few or maybe even the only event, where representatives of South Korea and North Korea met at the same festive table.

Association of Korean organizations of Primorsky region once again celebrates Lunar New Year in a big way. Not only representatives of Korean national-cultural autonomies participate in the event, but also Consul Generals of North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Japan and USA.

Valentin Pak is the head of the Association of Korean organizations of Primorsky region. He organizes this event for the 15th time already. He creates friendly atmosphere, where representatives of different countries may forget about political differences. Thus, this celebration is probably the only place where representatives of North Korea and South Korea meet at the same festive table.

Beautiful show and traditional dances will stay in guests’ memory for a long time.  At the end of the celebrations, all the participants stood up together to dance in a round.
