Unique mosaic panel will decorate the Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of Vladivostok
New mosaic panel will be created on Lazo street of Vladivostok. The two metres long Jesus Christ’s image will decorate the entrance of the Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of Vladivostok. The most part of this difficult and precise work has already been done.
The panel’s base is made of natural gold. It is difficult to image how bright the image will be on a sunny day because even under a layer of protection the creation shines bright.
The idea of the new decoration was proposed by the parishioners of the cathedral two years ago.
The panel will be finished by the end of July. After that a special ceremony will be held in order to honour the creation.
