Year of the crane started in the «Land of the leopard» national park
Around 600 children participated in the start of the year of the crane in the «Land of the leopard» national park.
2020 was declared the year of the crane by the international crane foundation. The Russia’s birds conservation organisation together with the Amur branch of the WWF participated in the event as well. The main idea of the campaign is to inform the southern citizens of the Far East about cranes, the dangers that await them and how people can protect them.
