Event tourism development projects of Primorsky region find recognition at the national level. This year Primorsky region is one of the main leaders at the regional stage of the all-Russian contest “Russian Event Awards – 2016”.

All-Russian event tourism competition is a prestigious competition. All regions of Russia present new possibilities of domestic tourism. Primorsky region, for the first time, has a leading position in the category of  "Tourist Information Centre" and "Tourist business oriented event."

260 projects from Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts have been competing for the title of the best projects of the country. Primorsky region has submitted 127 projects, 19 of them got nominated in 12 categories, including "Best tourist event in the field of culture, sports, youth and children's tourism", "The best idea for the development of event tourism" and "Best tourist event".

One of the long-awaited and important victories of the regional stage is professional activity of tourist information center of Primorsky region. Center specialists give consultations to the tourists in five languages. Moreover, tourist information center is ready to offer unique tourist routes to the guests.

Tourist information center has developed a project that combines several regions; it is called the "Eastern Ring of Russia". There is no unitary route; it can be changed according to clients’ request. This project and all other winner-projects of the regional stage will be presented at the final stage of the "National Award" in the field of event tourism on October, 13 in Yaroslavl.
