A book of Primorye’s writer became a best seller in Japan

Vasilii Acvhenko’s «Pravy rul» is taking leading positions in sales of the Russian literature in Japan. The book took third place in Amazon’s rating of the best selling Russian literature books in Japan right after Dostoevsky’s «The Brothers Karamazov» and «Crime and punishment».

The novel was often included in the short-lists of various literature prices like «The national best seller». Avchenko’s debut book talks about right-hand traffic. The author tells a story of the beginning and the end of the huge right-hand traffic cars industry that saved Primorye when it was left on its own by the federal government.
