TRAIN "ASSISTANCE" FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN APPEARED IN PRIMORYE

TRAIN

Social train "Assistance" began to work in the municipalities of Primorye. The initiators of the project are the regional Department of the all-Russian social movement "Mother of Russia".

The main purpose of the campaign is to assist families with children in obtaining various kinds of assistance, informing residents about social support measures that work in the region. Such advice is especially relevant for inhabitants of the remote villages. Therefore, the organizers tried to attract as many specialists of various regional and Federal agencies as possible to the action.

The first stop of the specialized train took place in Ussuriysk. Here they deployed consulting points, where specialists of social protection and employment, health care, Pension Fund and social insurance Fund worked with families, as well as employees of the Ussuri social rehabilitation center for minors.

Before the personal reception of citizens, a round table was organized, at which representatives of the Department of labor and social development of Primorye informed about what is happening today in the social policy of the region, what new measures to support families with children have appeared this year.

In particular, Deputy Director of the Department Natalia LUN told about payments to families with children.

"Lump-sum payment to families with many children, in particular, to prepare children for school. Purchase a car for families with six or more children. The opportunity to improve the living conditions of those who have five or more minor children, or three or more, but one of the children has a disability – all these measures of social support for families with children developed by us on behalf of the Governor of the region", – said Natalia LUN.

Already this year, the head of the region offered additional support to young families who had their first child.

"Today, every family with a first-born child can receive a one-time payment in the amount of two subsistence minimums per child. In Primorsky Krai it is almost 27.4 thousand rubles.

"If the mother's age is from 18 to 25 years, the family has the right to expect an additional payment from the regional budget in the amount of 22.6 thousand rubles. In total, the family will receive 50 thousand rubles," explained Natalia LUN and advised families to apply for benefits in the "single social window" or MFC at the place of residence.

Deputy Director of the social Department Elena Chibrikova, in turn, told the participants of the round table about how the interdepartmental scheme of social support for families in a socially dangerous situation works in Primorye.

"We use the rehabilitation resource of the family, motivate parents and children to find an independent way out of the crisis. Social support makes it possible to identify problem families at an early stage, just when they have all the chances to cope with the problems almost independently, with minimal external intervention," she said.

Elena Chibrikova paid special attention to what social services are provided today to families raising a disabled child, focusing on a relatively new direction – the early assistance Service.

"Now we have the opportunity to support parents who have had (adopted, taken under guardianship) a child with a disability literally from the first birthday. Before that, only doctors worked with the kids who were under three years old," the representative of the Department reminded.

In addition to Ussuriysk on this day the train "Assistance" visited several villages of the city district.
