Cruise liners «Costa Neoromantica» & «Westerdam» moored at the Vladivostok Sea Terminal on Monday.
According to Administration of Primorsky region, it is the first case in modern history, when the port takes two ocean liners at the same time.
There are about 4,5 thousands of foreign tourists on the board of two liners. Two thousand and a half of them are nationals of the Republic of Korea, who travel on the liner «Costa NeoRomantica». Another two thousand people are Americans and Australians, they came on the «Westerdam» liner.
It is the first visit of «Westerdam» under the flag of the Kingdom of the Netherland to Vladivostok, it arrived in Primorye from the Japanese port of Kanazawa. There are 11 decks at the liner. The pride of liner is the art collection, that includes images of historical Dutch ships, a collection of limestone figures from Ecuador, made over 5000 years ago, portraits by Andy Warhol and unique sculptures by Suzanne Holt.
In total, in this season the port will be visited by fifteen passenger liners. There are «Costa Serena», «Ocean Dream» and «Diamond Princess» among them. All these liners have already traveled to Vladivostok. The Far Eastern capital will be visited by the Golladsky liner «Maasdam», and also the sea giants «Spectrum of the Seas» and «Quantum of the Seas» of the company «Royal Caribbean» for the first time.
In addition, another liner will arrive in the Far Eastern capital for the period of the V East Economic Forum. It will turn into a floating hotel to accommodate the participants of Forum for a few days.
