�WorldSkills� is a championship of work profession. In Russia �WorldSkills� starts in 2011, but in Primorsky Region it is a first time.

There were 7 places of competition in Vladivostok, such as barbers, teachers, cookers. The first competition was welding. Fifteen boys and one girl took a part in the competition.

Andrey Arbuz, the organizer and the judge of �WorldSkills� competition said, "Participants should take metal plates, tubes and according the plan should to assemble, make welding, four modules in different complications�.

All participants are from different places of Primorsky Region, and everybody came to Vladivostok to show themselves.

Judges gave them difficult tasks, and time of competition is limited, only five hours.

Strokin Kirill, the participant of �WorldSkills� championship said, "The task is difficult, because the construction is testing to the watertightness. If joints be leaky, it considered to be a defective good�.

Daria Dovgan is a girl, and for her is difficult to complete with boys.She is studying in the shipbuilding college in Bolshoy Kamen.

She said, "I am not a welder, I am engineer of welding production. We had a practice to learn the joints, we were welding. And I showed my worth. After it the teacher asked me to participate �WorldSkills�. And I agreed, because it is very interesting."

Apart of judges employers are also watching for the participates working progress.

Elena Vahmina, the Deputy General Director of Shipyard "Vostochnaya Verf" said,  "The shipyard is working with the difficult projects, and of course, we will arrange highly qualified welders. The guys who participate in the championship today, they can count on engagement�.

Championship �WorldSkills� is hold to encrease the prestige of working profession.

Experts said, without the increase of the number such experts, it can not be the development of production in the Primorsky region.

Hope that the first Championship in the Primorsky region is sure to become a good tradition.
