A large-scale meeting of heads of branches of the Russian television and radio network is taking place in Vladivostok today. This year is key for RTRS. Russia is completing the construction of a network of digital broadcasting and it is planned that by the end of 2018, 20, instead of the previous 10, digital channels will be available to 98 percent of the country's population, that is almost everyone. Also from January next year will begin a phased reduction of analog television. And the technologies that will make it all possible, as well as issues regarding outreach to the population and discussed the heads of branches of RTRS from all over the country in Vladivostok. Alex Grabko, Director of the Primorsky branch of RTRN: "it is no Coincidence that the meeting is taking place on our 90 years since the beginning of radio broadcasting in the Primorsky region and we consider this date as its birthday. Therefore, we received guests from many branches, it is a great opportunity to exchange experiences."
