All Cossack affairs begin with a circle. This is the name of the council, in which the Cossacks make responsible decisions.
The Cossack theme in Arsenyev is heard. Local residents know the good deeds of this social organization.
The folk choral collective "Vishenye" famously winds up one of the most famous Cossack songs. And it immediately picked up all the rest.
In the regional center of folk culture, when they chose a new place for the festival, they preferred Arsenyev, because the Cossack traditions are strong here. The Far Eastern Cossacks are special. They absorbed the traditions of all the rest - and Kuban, and Don, and Zabaikalian freedom-loving Russian stanochnikov.
More than fifty collectives from all over the Maritime Territory take part in the song contest. Most folklore, folk, but there are also exclusively Cossack. There are not many of them, from a dozen, but they are.
Collectives on the stage of the local palace of culture succeed each other. This is a gala concert, the day before the selection was held. Only one of the certificates to its participants was given more than three hundred. They were awarded not only for the stage art - songs, dances. Without awards, the coastal artisans did not remain.
Cossacks are not only external attributes - checkers, whips, hats, but also a code of honor that is one hundred years old. And it says in it: all people are equal, and there are no great or small people.
