Entrepreneurs of Vladivostok decorate their shop windows and participate in the contest
There are 22 days left until New Year's Eve. In Vladivostok, the installation of the New Year's Eve small town on the central square is in full swing, festive illuminations are appearing on the streets, and representatives of the business community are setting the mood by decorating their shop windows, facades, and entrance areas with New Year's attributes.
Large shopping centers, small stores, and drugstores use garlands, pine branches, and colorful balloons as decorations. During the daytime, Christmas toys shimmer brightly in the sunlight, and at night the shimmering lights create a festive atmosphere. For example, such a decoration can be seen above the entrance to the "Izumrud" shopping center.
To support entrepreneurs, the Vladivostok administration holds a contest for the best New Year decorations. To participate, you need to post a photo of your work on Instagram with the hashtag #tigerbusiness2022.
The contest runs until December 20 in three categories: "Best New Year decorations among the shopping and entertainment centers and restaurant and hotel complexes," "Best New Year decorations among catering organizations" and "Best New Year decorations among retail and consumer services organizations.
As clarified in the city department of economic development, the contest will not only help entrepreneurs to get cash prizes and reimburse part of the cost of decorating their building, but also become a kind of advertisement in the run-up to the New Year.
