COVID testing to become free for Russian citizens
Free express testing for coronavirus should appear in Russian regions. This statement was announced by Alexei Kurinniy, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.
"I've been saying this for a long time, about a year, that mass testing, chain breaking, is the only option to stop the spread of the virus. Of course, it's not cheap. It's just that it costs a lot more to treat a person - 150,000-200,000 rubles minimum. I'm not even talking about the cost of human life if someone gets sick and God forbid, dies. So I think that this measure is justified," said Alexei Kurinniy in a conversation with ura.ru.
