Rare Japanese cranes were set into the wild after rehabilitation
Two Japanese cranes were released into the wild on Monday in the Spassky District of Primorsky Krai. These birds, which are listed in the International Red List, once found themselves in a dangerous situation. They were caught and temporarily placed in the «Tiger» wildlife rehabilitation center in the seaside village of Alekseevka.
According to the Ministry of Forestry and Hunting of Primorsky Krai, the birds were released in a swampy area within the protection zone of the state biosphere reserve "Khankaisky" near the site "Cranes".
