Primorye’s Gorky theatre is going on tour to Saint-Petersburg and Tula
The Gorky Academic Theatre is going on a "Grand Tour" organized by the Federal Directorate of Musical and Festival Programs "Roskoncert" on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of Russia. The route of the artists includes St. Petersburg again and for the first time - Tula.
Edith Piaf will be heard on the banks of the Neva for the first time. Natalia Ovchinnikova sings live with the voice of the great Frenchwoman and plays the star a very young girl in the prime of her fame and at the end of her life. The tour poster also includes the Gorky Theater's calling card "Tovarisch", a play about Russian princes in exile, "Anna Karenina", a Tolstoy classic for St. Petersburg theatre-goers, and the most recent premiere, "Cowboy. King. The Magnificent," for the 100th anniversary of Yul Bryner, the Russian king of Hollywood born in Vladivostok.
