Citizens of Bogopol value the memory of their World War II heroes

The very first village of Kavalerovsky district, founded in 1907, is famous for the fact that to this day it carefully keeps memories of immigrants from Central Russian provinces. Most of those who live here are their descendants. They remember their parents who suffered from the main tragedy and the country's main pride - World War II.

In 2008 the first obelisk of the village was erected near in the center of Bogopol.
