The mayor of Artiem was diagnosed with COVID-19
The mayor of Artiem Vyacheslav Kvon was diagnosed with the coronavirus infection. The head of the region took the coronavirus test after being exposed to infected people.
«Starting from August 4th I have been respecting self-isolation measures as I was in contact with an infected person last weekend. On Friday, August 7th, my test came back positive. From now on I, unfortunately, have to be on a sick-leave. This is not the right time since we have a lot of work to do, however I believe that my team will be able to handle this situation» - said the mayor on his Instagram page.
